Tim grew up playing the Western Jr. USTA Sanctioned Intermountain tournaments, played #1 singles (Colorado) during his high school tenure, played collegiately and professionally before becoming a USTA Sanctioned Tennis Teaching Professional during his graduate study years in Greeley and Denver. His initial degree was in Computer Systems Analysis and Design before he moved on to education where he taught for 15 years in Denver Public Schools and then migrated to school leadership/administration. He recently retired as a Superintendent of Schools after 34 years of service and is now beginning his 2nd career in Tennis/Pickleball Leadership with the HRCA.
Tim’s father was a citizen of Ireland and had a brother born on St. Patricks Day while he was living in Boston. Needless to say, he’s very Irish!
He currently lives in Highlands Ranch and anchors himself in this metaphor, “Live as if you were going to die tomorrow; Learn as if you were going to live forever.” M. Gandi

Mike fell in love with the game of tennis at the ripe old age of 29. Five years later, he became a PTR Certified Teaching Professional. That was over twenty years ago. Mike started his teaching in Kansas City, working part-time for the Overland Racquet Club and full-time for the Homestead Country Club. In 2001, he relocated his family to Colorado. Mike started teaching part-time for HRCA in 2007 and became a regular Tennis Staff Member in 2009. Mike is also a tennis racquet stringer and technician. He is a certified Pickleball Instructor.
My Dad once told me that "Attitude is everything." Without a positive mental approach to something, you will never succeed. Remember, if you give your best effort, you will never be a failure or a loser. I believe tennis is a game for life, you can play at any level, at any age.
