Joining the Camp Backcountry team means becoming a part of a community of enthusiastic, hardworking, and creative individuals who come together with a mutual love for the outdoors and a common goal to educate and inspire the next generation.
Each summer, we hire a strong team of nature camp counselors, art camp counselors, and horse camp counselors. Our staff is highly qualified, with many having previous childcare experience or are pursuing a degree in education or a related field. All counselors undergo multiple background checks and complete a week-long in-the-field training.
