General Rental Information

All setup and clean-up must occur during the Use Period. Failure to complete clean-up and vacate the premises by the end of the Use Period will result in additional charges. See Facility Use Regulations.

A $10.00 flat fee for tables and chairs is required for most rooms. 

If the reservation plans on having food or beverage, a $50 refundable deposit will be charged at the time of booking.

Projector rental is $25.

Microphone rental is $10.

Reservations must be made in person at the recreation facility in which you are booking no more than 60 days prior. Reservations are confirmed when a contract is completed and payment is received.

Wildcat Mountain Auditorium Rental

The Wildcat Mountain Auditorium at the Recreation Center at Southridge is a great venue for private events. The space features a stage, commercial kitchen, patio, projector with screen, and state-of-the-art sound system. Tables and chair rentals are available. The auditorium can accommodate up to 270 attendees in informal, intimate or formal settings.

The rental fee includes use of the space, set-up by our staff to be completed by the time your event begins, six foot rectangular tables, chairs, use of the stage, disco ball, and the audiovisual equipment (projector, microphone, stereo, i-pod/laptop compatible). Round tables (six feet in diameter) are available for a $50 fee. Tablecloths are not provided with the rental.

The round tables fit up to 10 people. We recommend 8-9 people per table for the most comfortable seating arrangement. Rectangular tables can fit 4-6 people comfortably.

Room capacity depends on the type of event and set up requirements.

  • Theater style seating: Up to 270 people.
  • Dinner: Round Table seating (9 per table): Up to 198 people; Rectangular Tables (6 per table): Up to 180 people.
  • Dinner with open space for dancing in front of the stage: Round Table seating (9 per table): Up to 150 people.

No, there is not any additional setup and breakdown time allotted. The setup and breakdown time must be included in the rental period. 

The kitchen is not included. It can be added on to your rental for a $100 flat fee. This fee will allow access to the kitchen and kitchen appliances only during your rental period (flatware, glassware, kitchen utensils, etc. are not available.)

There is an additional charge to rent the patio. If you are renting any portion of the Auditorium, then the price to rent the patio is $50/hour or $250/day. To rent just the patio space, the cost is $100/hour or $500/day. The patio can be set up with rectangular or round tables for seating up to 80 people. Smoking is not permitted outside.

The stage can be used for appropriate intended uses. These types of uses include, but are not limited to, presentations, wedding party seating, first dance, etc. The stage is not intended to be used for extra seating and/or a play area.

The HRCA allows the renter to either bring in their own food or hire a caterer. In either scenario, the following guidelines should be followed:

  • Renter must be present for deliveries and pickups. The HRCA staff does not accept any responsibility for receiving deliveries or removing property of the renter.
  • All deliveries must stay on roadways and paths. No deliveries should be delivered before contracted time, without prior approval.
  • The HRCA is not responsible for any items left on the premises before or after contracted rental hours.
  • Kitchen must be cleaned and in good order after use.

With prior approval, we will allow after-hours rental up until 12:00 a.m. After-hours rental rates apply beginning at 9pm on Monday - Friday, at 8pm on Saturday and at 6pm on Sunday. The hourly rate after the Recreation Center is closed is $400 per hour.

Renter may provide decorations that are approved by the HRCA. All decorations must be confined to the rental area. Decorations may be attached to the walls provided the paint is not damaged upon removal. Use of candles and confetti is not permitted.

The deposit is collected for potential damages to the room and/or kitchen. A supervisor will check the room(s) at the end of the rental. Any damages will be documented and the cost will be deducted from the deposit. The deposit is also collected for any additional time that you are in the rental space past the end of your initial reservation period. You will be billed in 15 minute increments. All deposits will be processed within 3-5 days of the rental.

The HRCA permits alcohol in the Wildcat Mountain Auditorium and the Patio space with the following guidelines:

  • No alcohol may be sold at any time.
  • Alcoholic beverages are strictly limited to beer, wine, and champagne.
  • No alcoholic beverages may be served prior to 11:00 am and service of alcoholic beverages shall cease no later than 45 minutes prior to the end of the rental period.
  • If the function will include 50 or more attendees:
    • A certified and insured bartender supplied by a caterer acceptable to the HRCA. Only such bartenders will be authorized to serve alcohol.
    • An off-duty police officer shall be provided by the HRCA. The fee of the police officer plus 10% shall be paid by renter to the HRCA.

Smoking is not allowed on any HRCA property.

We request that the renters pick up all trash and leave the room in the condition as they first arrived. The HRCA janitorial staff will take the trash to the dumpster and vacuum the room.
